Mubadala Investment Company, a sovereign investor, manages a diverse portfolio of assets and investments in the United Arab Emirates and abroad, to generate sustainable financial returns for its shareholder, the Government of Abu Dhabi.

 

In May 2021, Mubadala Investment Company partnered with Omnia to develop the 2020 Annual Review. The investor Relations Team’s brief was to create an innovative digital microsite (?) and PDF in both English and Arabic languages, as well as support the launch of the company’s new Environmental, Social and Governance Policy.

 

Solution

Multiple teams worked in parallel on content development, creative design, digital build, print design and layout, to deliver the project within a tight timeframe. The aim was to support the Company’s sustainability goals by delivering the Annual Review on a new digital platform. Our team worked to create an engaging immersive digital experience on a new microsite, drawing influence from the brand guidelines and Mubadala’s striking physical architecture. For inspiration, we studied buildings in Mubadala’s property portfolio and brand imagery to recreate the exact geometric angels, which formed the foundation for the look and feel of the new 3D digital environment. The result is a stylish and elegant digital visual journey that reflects Mubadala’s brand.

 

Results

The Annual Review went live in mid-2021 and the microsite and associated PDF was extremely well received by the Mubadala team internally, and by external stakeholders.
